MIPS, 2024 - What's Changing

ABOUT THE WEBINAR:

What are the key proposals impacting the traditional Merit-based Incentive Program System (MIPS) and the continued development of the MIPS Value Pathways (MVPs) for 2024?  Join us as we share the latest news from CMS and outline how you can prepare to not only stay out of the penalty box but also bring dollars back to the practice.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:

Gary Hyman serves as the SVP, Value-Based Care for Sharecare where he leads efforts to affect policy and develop value-based reporting solutions that help providers, practices and health systems measure their performance and success with value-based payer programs including the CMS Quality Payment Program. Prior to joining Sharecare, Gary established the Hawkins Foundation in 2005 with renowned orthopaedic surgeon Richard Hawkins, MD. He has worked diligently in support of orthopaedic research and education efforts to improve patient outcomes. The organization’s efforts alongside orthopaedic surgeons, clinic administrators, academic and commercial professionals, resulted in hundreds of research publication and fellowship-trained surgeons, national efforts to define orthopaedic quality within the emergence of federal mandated value-based reimbursement policies, and the creation of several new organizations focused on optimizing orthopaedic care. He received his BS degree from the University of South Carolina in 1983.
