Colorado MGMA is pleased to work with our Corporate Affliliate Members in the healthcare industry to provide them with opportunities to support and interact with our Active Members throughout the state. We offer several different ways for our vendors to educate our members on their products and services. Our current vendor opportunities include:
The best way to reach our Active Members is by exhibiting at our conferences. We sell booth spaces in the exhibit hall during the payer day and fall conferences each year so that our vendors get an opportunity to display their products and services. This close interaction with the members helps to build relationships and trust as well as awareness for their specific product or service. It also gives vendors a chance to hear directly from the front lines what the needs of the administrators are in their practices today. CMGMA typically has very good traffic in the exhibit hall. We have been using a business card file folder to allow our attendees to collect business cards from each of the booths. During the grand prize drawings at the end of the conferences, attendees must have their booklets full of these business cards in order to be eligible to win a prize. Again, we believe that this encourages our members to interact and mingle with the exhibitors and gives everyone the opportunity to start building relationships that we hope will continue well into the future. Our desire is that these books full of the business cards will be taken back to the office and our members will refer to them when in need of a new product or service. Vendors often tell us that they get a lot of good leads during our conferences. They may or may not "make a sale" immediately at the conference, but our thought is that the attendees will seek those vendors out if they need someone in the future because they've already made the personal connection.
Sponsorships are another good opportunity for vendors during the conferences. We offer sponsorships for receptions, meals, and speaker sessions as well as several personalized gift items. Vendors may have a company slide shown before a presentation, sponsor a lunch, have their name on the conference bags, and much more.
