    Cyber Liability for Your Practice

In our increasingly technological world, concern about cyber liability is on the rise.   Stolen laptops, ransomware attacks, misrouted patient information and malware are just a few of the pitfalls facing today’s modern medical practice.  Learn how to protect your office from cyber attacks and HIPAA breaches and how to mitigate the fallout if your practice is the victim of a cyber attack or breach. Topics to be covered include:

    • What is Cyber Liability?
    • Most Common Claims Reported
    • Trends in Claims and Legislation
    • Preventive Measures
    • Available Resources

    About our speaker:

Angela Klein has been a senior claims consultant at COPIC for 6 years. Prior to coming to COPIC, Angela was a trial attorney specializing in insurance bad faith, health care law and employee benefit law. Angela now handles all of COPIC’s cyber liability claims.
